Making It On YouTube
The Brief
We worked with the team at YouTube to bring their idea to life. They wanted a podcast that would show the reality, the highs and challenges of being a creator, and speak to other creators. Working with creators from around the globe, we created episodes that were both studio based and recorded online, keeping the look and feel of the podcast across both formats.
Our Approach
As well as having great guests, we worked with the team to come up with a fun quiz segment to bring the YouTube voice into the podcast without it coming across as a presentation.
The Result
With over 100k views for the episodes on YouTube alone, this podcast reached and engaged its intended audience. Outside of YouTube, the podcast reached a loyal audience and the average listen duration – what percentage of the podcast someone listens to – was over 50% across Spotify and Apple podcasts.
