We’ve had a very exciting week here at MOVE Digital. Here’s a quick update on what’s been keeping us busy.
Sunshine and Sauerkraut
It’s not every week that you get to go and visit a brilliant client in one of Europe’s most beautiful cities. But this wasn’t just any week. On Tuesday, two of us left the big smoke behind and flew to Munich to have a meeting with client Proton Motor in nearby Puchheim.
Not long after landing, we were treated to views like this:

Yeah. Pretty special.
After a bit of sightseeing and a quick pit stop for some traditional Bavarian grub – a sausage platter served with sauerkraut, since you ask – we got to work preparing for the following day’s meeting with Proton Motor.
If you’re not aware of what they do, Proton build hydrogen fuel cells, which can be used as environmentally friendly energy sources. In a stark contrast fossil fuel power solutions, hydrogen fuel cells are 100% clean, and emit only water. From boats, to cars, to buildings, to entire power grids, the sheer number of potential applications for these smart bits of German engineering are absolutely staggering. We’re firmly of the belief that these guys’ eco-friendly power solutions have the potential to change the world, which is why they’ve been our client for over a year. Meanwhile, back in London, the rest of the gang were hard at work making sure every client was getting the attention they deserve. Make no mistake. They’re the real heroes here!
MOVE: the Movie
After returning from Munich, we didn’t want to rest on our laurels. Not one bit. So we’ve started working on the first episode of what we hope is a long-running web series: The Diary of an Entrepreneur. In it, we’ll be telling the story of how our founder Geraint John got MOVE to where it is today, and how other aspiring businesspeople can make a success of starting their own business.
We brought in videographer Joe Harvey for a day of filming, and we’re very excited about the footage we’ve got in the can. Keep an eye on our social media feeds, we’ll be bringing you episode one very soon.
Making the best cards in the business
We don’t know about you, but we think our business cards are pretty easy on the eye:
Not everyone’s business card is top dollar, though. And, after all, a business card is a huge opportunity to make a second impression after meeting a new contact. Our client, Instant Print W1 – based on our old stomping ground at Great Portland Street – prints thousands upon thousands of business cards every year. So they’ve developed a pretty keen eye for what separates a good business card from a bad one.
