MOVE Digital out and about in Fitzrovia
There’s been loads going on over the past seven days with several new tech launches and news stories making waves within the digital marketing community.
New creature from Google
As always, Google tends to steal the headlines and they certainly have with the news that they have released another version of their latest update (Panda). Edition 4.2 is set to give those that were penalised by the first update the opportunity to redeem themselves. The changes won’t be instantaneous but you will notice them improve your rankings over time.
This is very different to how Google updates used to affect rankings, where in the past you would see an instant drop or improvement you now see a rather slow burn. We expect future releases to follow this trend.
Moz launches new service
Another interesting story is the recent announcement from Moz regarding the UK launch of their local SEO service named (unsurprisingly) Moz local. The service is great news for independent business owners as they can see where and when their business is listed online.
Getting Lobstered
MOVE really enjoyed their meal at top Fitzrovia haunt, Burger & Lobster this lunch-time. Everyone was chowing down on their favourite crustacean delicacy and we even got to meet this guy #Legend
