They’ve always said the Monday after a particularly good weekend doesn’t help with productivity. In fact, any Monday after any weekend is usually a drag. However, I’m here to say nay!
As we speak, I am chilling in a park in Fitzrovia soaking up some well-deserved rays. You see being stuck in an office with 6 guys from 9 to 5 can take its toll on a young, wholesome woman such as myself.
I’ll just say this – someone is being really gassy in the office, today. Have what you will with that information.
So, thanks to Geraint, I’ve managed to escape and write a few words for the blog. I must say being outside makes a world of difference for my writing compared to being stuck inside. As a creative agency, it’s always best to change up our environment, so we can come up with even better ideas in different ways.
Although, I’m not sure how I feel about being nearly knocked out by a football. I’ll get back to you on that one. Also, this old lady’s cigarette smoke is slightly harshing my flow.
Nevertheless, I’m excited for what’s to come for Move Digital. Geraint has allowed each member of the team to take a half-day off to do something inspiring. (Only half, because we still do have to get some work done) It’s essential to keep our creative juices flowing, after all.
Now, inspiring could mean anything to anyone. It could mean taking a couple hours to explore London’s museums. It could also mean taking a class in something you’ve never before – be it pottery, writing or dancing.
There is always something happening that will allow you to channel your creativeness and in turn will help you churn out outstanding work. I’ve always found myself coming up with new ideas after I’ve allowed myself to relax and just take in some culture.
With some exciting new clients hopefully being added to our roster, we’ll need those half days to recuperate before getting back in the game.
